I’m an experienced educational leader with over 14 years in the public school setting. My work is focused on student growth and making a significant impact on the professional development of educators. Assistant Principal, Rockdale County Public Schools, Conyers, GA 2018 to Present
     • Team leader on school’s comprehensive needs assessment; working to develop

        school goals and root cause analysis

  • Co-author of the Striving Readers Grant for Edwards Middle School which was awarded in 2015 with a total of $83,915.00 over the span of 4 years

With an Ed.S in Educational Leadership, I have worked to enlist and guide the talents and skills of administrators, teachers, students, parents toward achieving educational goals and objectives.

Certified Teacher

I have served in education for 10 years, with six years as an English teacher at Middle and High school level. Throughout my years in the classroom, I have added several endorsements to enhance my knowledge and skills and to better serve students. My added endorsements are ESOL, Gifted, Reading, and Teacher Leader.

I am proficient in Microsoft Office software and am certified as an Microsoft Innovative Educator. MIEs use Microsoft tools in the classroom and have learned the fundamentals of applying technology in education.
